Fire alarms for homes
For most houses the right answer is mains-powered, interlinked smoke and heat detection: when one detector sounds, they all do. Heat detectors go in kitchens, where smoke alarms cause nuisance alarms; smoke detection covers escape routes and living areas.

Do I need interlinked smoke alarms?
For most homes it's the recommended standard, and it's often required for extensions, loft conversions and new builds. Interlinking means an alarm in one room sounds throughout the house.
Can you test and service an existing fire alarm system?
Yes — including zoned commercial panels. Testing is documented so you have a record for insurers and inspections.
Where should CCTV cameras go?
Where they cover entry points and valuables without pointing into neighbours' property. We'll walk the site with you and agree positions before fitting.
Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set the app up before we leave and show you how to view live and recorded footage.
